Not a Western 4 star but a good hotel. Service is good. Call and ask the desk and they'll run it up quickly. You CAN take a bath despite the confusing sign above the tub. No AC but it wasn't uncomfortable because of a fan and enormous window which you can leave open; only a very few bugs. We had one mosquito in 3 days and a few little moths and we left the window open whenever we were in the room. You need to understand that the climate is often cool but always moist so the rooms smell musty and mildew is evident in spots. For instance, the water dispenser had some mildew evident. But rooms, beds, and dining room were clean. The breakfast buffet is quite varied- I depend on a good breakfast and I had omelets every day. You could have a decent western breakfast or eat Malaysian style. Everything was labeled, so I knew what new food I was trying. The one negative was the noise level I'm the mornings/evenings-some from the lobby where people were making noise (children keep late hour...

My go to hotel for the past 5 years. Always had a pleasant stay. I've witnessed improvements made throughout the years. Well trained staff, always have a way to fulfill customers needs. The food is wonderful (both buffet and individual set). Most of their rooms are spacious and very well maintained. Suitable for family vacation, honeymoon and business functions. Location of the hotel is very strategic - located in front of playground/jogging/running track, walking distance to restaurants, retails shops, ATMs and tourist center.

Reached hotel around 9pm after dinner. The staff told us the WiFi and TV might not be working properly due to thunder strike, gave free upgrade from superior room to deluxe room. However, the WiFi and TV in the room were working fine. Thanks for the free upgrade.
